Assessment Guidelines
The following assessment guidelines are designed to assist teachers in deciding on a child's level of attainment.
Teachers will judge which level description best fits the child's performance.
At St. Andrew's R.C.P. School we do not make value judgements in regard to a child's Art work. At St. Andrew's it is the child's engagement in the 'Processes' of Art, Craft 7 Design which form the basis of assessment - i.e., a child's level of attainment in regard to:
a) Enjoyment/Motivation
b) Skills
c) Knowledge
d) Technical/Creative Expertise
e) Attitudes
