Knowledge
and
Understanding
Develop
Understanding
Describe and compare
works of art, craft and design in simple terms, recognising
simple differences in method and approach -
e.g. in response to Monet -
'This painting looks a bit like Van Gogh's but it
looks more real. The shapes
are really clear and the colours match real trees,
flowers etc'.
Respond
to and Evaluate
Respond confidently to ideas, methods or approaches, making links with their own work - e.g. in response to a study of landscapes 'I think I'll draw my landscape in pencil and use watery colours like this Monet picture'.
